Awaiting Autumn 2015 Haul

Why hello again !

These past few weeks I have done quite a bit of shopping. It’s not that I have purchased a crazy amount of things but I have been on the hunt for the best pieces, scoping out what I need to purchase for the upcoming autumn season and picking up a few things that I couldn’t live without on the way. So in saying this, you will probably have another haul to look forward to very soon because I have been eyeing up a ton of things that I will probably be purchasing, so make sure you keep your eyes open for that. For now though, these are the things I have purchased recently.

This sweater. It spoke to me as soon as I saw it hanging up on the wall at Topshop. I don’t know if you know this or not ( if you know me in real life you 100% do ) but I am obsessed with sharks…not like a little obsession but full blow, that girl is crazy, obsessed (hence the shark post a little while back). Anyways, not only does this sweater have not one but two sharks on it, it is also extremely on trend – matches my style perfectly, very comfortable and easy to wear with pretty much anything. I have a plan to style this in a post very soon so stay tuned to see me wearing it !

This month has started my obsession with bralettes, specifically lace ones. Now I know most fuller chest women are thinking ” well I can’t wear them, there isn’t enough support ” and you are right they aren’t as supportive as a normal bra; but if you find the right bralette it does give enough support that you don’t feel like your boobs are flying all over the place. I personally find they are fine to wear because I get them to fit right and make sure I find the right one. I only owned one that I purchased quite a while ago that has worked like a charm and have been on the hunt for another for a few weeks. I came across this one in Aritzia and couldn’t be happier. It is in this beautiful navy color, is lined so no nipples are showing through and has a beautiful back as well. It gives just enough support and it also comes in multiple colors; mind you this is the only large I could find in the store in any color so I suggest ordering them online if you need a bigger size. Also just for reference the large fits me perfectly !

This month for the first time I ordered off of Lulu ‘s because I had really just discovered it… I knew about it before but wasn’t really sure about it. As soon as I went onto this site I saw this dress and I knew I had to have it. It is a little more dressed up so I wouldn’t wear it any old day ( although you definitely could if you wanted to) but got it for special occasions, with one particularly in mind. This too I am going to do a post wearing it so that you can really see how it looks, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The quality is a lot better than I was expecting and it fits me literally like a glove; so well that I don’t even need to wear a bra and I ALWAYS wear a bra no matter what. It is a midi dress but instead of being solid the whole way down, once it passes you knees it goes sheer so you can only see the stripes against your legs ( you can see what I mean in the photo above ) which I liked a lot because otherwise I feel like it would make me look too short, I’m already 5’2. I was very pleased with this purchase though and I suggest checking out I know I will be ordering more from there very soon !

This suede skirt from Zara is my most recent purchase and I am in love with it. It is genuine suede in your basic camel color, is high waisted and has stitch detail along the waistline which gives it an extra little pop. I have already taken photos wearing this ( let’s be real you will see all of these pieces very soon haha because I love them ) so you will be able to see it on and styled in the next post. It fits beautifully and sits very well because it is a thicker material. It is also extremely versatile and can be worn a multitude of ways – suede is a huge trend this fall so it is the perfect addition to my wardrobe !

This lovely little bag you have already seen in this post and I talk about it more there so if you would like to read more about it head on over there. But, it is just an amazing mini bag for fall in this beautiful navy color once again ( can you find another upcoming trend this season haha ). It is pretty roomy despite it’s size, it fits my DSLR in it perfectly for reference and it also comes with a shoulder strap that I have not used yet but definitely will be this fall. I love how it can be worn as a crossbody (which is looks amazing as p.s.), just over the shoulder or carried as a top handle – it is extremely versatile and the closure and croc detail makes it feel very classic and vintagey.

These earrings and the dress to follow were also featured in that same post as you will have saw if you clicked on it and I talk about them both in depth also, so I won’t talk about them too much. The earrings with ear jackets from Aldo are beautiful and add a statement to a simple set of studs. Aldo have numerous gorgeous pairs of ear jackets so if this one isn’t your style you can probably find another gorgeous pair there as well. Also, if you are curious about the bowl it is from Indigo

I have talked about this dress in that post way too much already, so all I will say is… you can find it here on NastyGal; it is perfect – is a lovely crepe material and is very easy to style and wear.

Last but not least, I wanted to include my most recent fitness purchase from Nike because they are the only fitness accessory I have purchased lately so I didn’t want to give them their own post and also, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet and I wanted to share. The name of them is the Nike Free Flyknit 4.0 for those of you wondering. First, I will start off with telling you the bad news, my fellow Canadians – we do not have these shoes in this color in Canada ( that I know of )… I know it sucks a whole lot which is why I ended up ordering the from the U.S. I had to pay a bit more for them than I would have liked, but they were too beautiful to pass up. Back to the shoes – they are unbelievable comfortable; for some reason whenever I saw Flyknits I thought they would be too flimsy and not supportive enough for running et. but I was very wrong. They give just enough support but they aren’t heavy and bulky like some other shoes can be, perfect for running in my opinion. The sole has a lot of cushion and they just feel so great on the feet. I think I may need to purchase them in a more neutral color to wear with all of my clothing, but for now these are just my gym shoes and I have been loving them. I highly suggest checking them out ! Here they are in a different color from the Canadian Site as well.

So those are the pieces I have recently purchased, as I said stay tuned for more very soon as I will be doing a lot more shopping ! What do you think of the pieces I have picked out ? If there is any pieces that I 100% need to add to my wardrobe for the upcoming fall ? If so, let me know what they are in the comment section !

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed & are having a wonderful start to the week.
